22-year-old woman undergoing buttock enlargement surgery d!es ‘within ten minutes’ of being given anaesthetic
Russian authorities are currently investigating the tragic and sudden death of a 22-year-old woman, Mika Shabasova, who tragically passed away during a buttock enlargement surgery conducted by an unqualified beautician, who also happened to be her friend. The distressing incident occurred when Mika was undergoing the procedure and reportedly died only ten minutes after being administered local anaesthetic for the surgery.
The beautician responsible for the ill-fated procedure, Uma M, has now been placed under house arrest as part of the ongoing investigation. Shockingly, she had no license for cosmetic surgery, despite offering the procedure at a meager cost of £154, having completed only a two-week course in the field. It is alleged that she had previously performed various other cosmetic procedures, including lip, cheek, and butt enlargements.
Before the unfortunate incident, the beautician had inquired about Mika’s allergies, but it seems that the appropriate precautions were not adequately taken. Mika’s untimely death occurred before an ambulance could reach the makeshift ‘home surgery’ conducted by Uma M, who worked without the necessary authorization or professional qualifications.

The Russian Investigative Committee is currently delving into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. A forensic medical examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of Mika’s death.
A close friend of the deceased revealed that he had strongly advised Mika against undergoing the buttock procedure, which Uma M had advertised. The beautician’s certification was obtained recently, following a two-week course, having previously worked as a waitress and a lash extension artist.
Despite the concerns expressed by her friends, Mika decided to undergo the surgery because of her trust in Uma, who was also her friend. Sadly, she secretly left her home and arranged for a taxi to take her to the procedure.
Tragically, just three days before the surgery, Mika had been experiencing a fever and was off work. She had previously undergone other cosmetic procedures involving different anaesthetics, but the buttock enlargement surgery turned out to be fatal, leading to her passing within 15 minutes.
Authorities have interviewed friends and acquaintances as part of their investigation into this heart-wrenching case. As the details unfold, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks associated with undergoing cosmetic procedures by unlicensed and unqualified individuals.
