Alex Asogwa, a former Big Brother Naija star, has taken to social media to express her disappointment with friends and colleagues who support the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). In a recent post shared on her Twitter handle, she criticized them, stating that they “reek of wickedness” for supporting a party that, according to her, has failed to deliver on its promises.
Alex also expressed her concerns about the integrity of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), accusing them of colluding with the APC to rig the ongoing election. She urged them to be mindful that God is watching and that their actions would have consequences.
In her tweet, Alex said, “To all my friends and colleagues supporting APC, you all reek of wickedness. This election is being rigged by APC in broad daylight, and INEC is complicit. Remember, God is watching.”
Alex’s comments are reflective of the general mood among many Nigerians who have expressed concerns about the conduct of the ongoing elections. There have been reports of irregularities and violence in some polling stations, with accusations of vote-buying and ballot box snatching.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has, however, assured Nigerians of its commitment to a free and fair election. It has urged voters to remain peaceful and report any irregularities or incidents of violence to the appropriate authorities.
As the election continues to unfold, it is hoped that the authorities will ensure that the process is transparent, credible, and reflects the will of the people.
