Delta state taskforce team raid brothel in Sapele, arrest ladies alleged to be s3x workers (video)

On September 25, the Delta State Government, through its Office of Human Trafficking and Illicit Drugs, conducted a raid on a well-known hotel along New Road and a brothel in the Ogun-Aja area of Sapele. The operation was part of the government’s initiative to combat drug abuse and human trafficking in Sapele Local Government Area (LGA) and Delta state as a whole.

Videos circulated online depicted alleged sex workers and suspected drugs that were discovered during the raid in both the hotel and the brothel.

As a result of the operation, the individuals involved, particularly the women suspected to be engaged in sex work, were apprehended and transported to the Sapele police station. Subsequently, they were released on bail. The government’s actions aim to create a drug-free society and address the issues of human trafficking and illicit activities within the region.
