Reuben Abati, former presidential media aide and Arise TV anchor, has raised concerns about the whereabouts of President Tinubu. Abati noted that the last time Nigerians saw President Tinubu was during the October 1 Independence Day celebration. He observed that since then, Vice President Kashim Shettima has been the one seen in public functions.
Abati emphasized the role of presidential aides in ensuring the President’s regular public appearances and media coverage. He stressed the importance of portraying the President as actively managing the affairs of the country, making sure he appears on the front cover of newspapers to assure the public that he is on top of his responsibilities.
