Tammy Slaton, a star from the popular TLC show “1000lb Sisters,” has undergone a remarkable transformation and achieved her goal weight. Tammy has struggled with her weight for years and was once rushed to the hospital due to breathing difficulties. As a result, she was given a tracheotomy to help her breathe, but after months of using a breathing tube, she entered a food rehabilitation center to work on her weight.
Tammy’s goal was to reach 550lbs, the weight requirement for bariatric surgery. When she first started rehab, she weighed 717lbs, which was the most she had ever weighed. However, through her hard work and determination, she was able to reach her goal weight of 534lbs, which was 16lbs below her target weight.
When Tammy stepped onto the scale and saw that she had achieved her goal, she was thrilled and filled with all kinds of emotions. She expressed her joy in a new episode of the show, saying “I did that! I’m feeling thrilled, proud, excited – just all the emotions. I proved everybody wrong. Everybody that doubted me, I finally got mine! My told-you-so moment!”
Her sister, Amanda, was amazed by Tammy’s transformation and said, “Are you serious? For real? Tammy, you see that?!” While Misty expressed her excitement, saying she was “so stoked” for her sister. Tammy’s journey has been a long and difficult one, but her achievement is a testament to her unwavering determination and the support of her family and friends.
Tammy’s story is not just about weight loss, but about overcoming the challenges life throws our way and persevering despite the odds. It serves as an inspiration to others who are struggling with similar challenges and motivates them to take control of their lives and achieve their own goals.
