Upon arriving at the lake, the teams discovered the body of a man floating in the water. The Cyberjaya Fire and Rescue Station was also called in to retrieve the body from the lake.
In addition to the body, a black Hilux was found plunged into the lake in the surrounding five-acre open land. The witness who initially reported the discovery went to check the vehicle and found the body floating about three meters away. The lake area, which is not fenced and is easily accessible, is known to be a popular spot for anglers.
As the investigation into the case continues, the police are focusing their efforts on finding out the cause of death and any potential suspects. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which pertains to murder.
